Job interview - as many opportunities as pitfalls
If you have been invited to an interview, it means that you have already gone through the so-called first sieve. And this is a kind of success. It must not be lost. The basic issue is proper preparation for the interview. It is true that we never know what awaits us, but we can be sure of one thing - we must know the employer well. So take a moment to research and get to know the company. Read opinions, check the history of activities, awards. The point is not to know the names of the last CEOs or the entire supervisory board by heart. You just have to make it clear that this particular place is your dream place, you've been thinking about it forever and you know who you come to. If the only answer to the question about knowledge about the company is silence - you are burnt. If you can show that you know what the company does and what it has achieved - your chances increase.
Another pitfall is the question of your additional questions. At your first interview, refrain from asking for holidays or breaks. Also, be careful about financial matters. By asking about these aspects, you may lose your chances of employment. Also, refrain from voicing your opinion about your former boss. This is not in a good tone and does not indicate your commitment and willingness to appear in the new job. More about the urge to run away.
